The birds start their singing, there’s dew in the air
the sun starts to shine, there’s smiles everywhere
And today I”ll be happy, today I’ll be free
with all my friends, I’ll just be me
And yes I can, yes I can, yes I can at Camp Callahan
Let’s all go swimming, the water’s just fine
The bluegill are biting, there’s one on my line
And I’ll row my boat to a far away land
Only right here at Camp Callahan.
The camp fire’s still glowing, the moons rising high
The whippoorwill sings her sweet lullaby
And before I lay me down to sleep
I”ll thank the Lord for the memories I’ll keep.
And yes I can, yes I can, yes I can at Camp Callahan
Yes I can at Camp Callahan.
